NYX Butter Lipstick in Big Cherry BLS19 is classified as a cherry red. It’s a true red that can be The Perfect Red lipstick for some. Aside from having a gorgeous shade and excellent pigmentation, it also boasts of a buttery formula that is moisturizing and lightweight at the same time. This shade also has the same scent as NYX Fizzies Butter lipstick, which smells like butter.

Big Cherry swiped a bit uneven in the arm swatches above because I swatched it near my wrist. But it is fairly pigmented and the color is quite buildable. With 3 swipes, you can achieve full opaque coverage.
The texture is very creamy and smooth and it glides across the lips without tugging. This buttery lipstick doesn’t accentuate dry/chapped lips nor does it settle into lip lines. As always, though, if you have extremely dry lips, it’s recommended for you to exfoliate and moisturize the lips first.
You won’t need to use a lip concealer with NYX Big Cherry. I don’t experience feathering with this lipstick, however, you might still want to use a matching lip liner if you want it to last longer on your lips or if you just want to have perfect red lips.
With a buttery-moist texture and slick, it doesn’t feel heavy on the lips. It also sets really well and doesn’t slide around the lips.

It’s been a while since I last reviewed a product and I must say that I missed doing selfies for the blog. I guess I’m entitled to a few selfies because they’re Selfies for a Cause. Lol!
Anyways, I love how it’s not too dark on my lips. That shine, though! Big Cherry gives me juicy, red lips without much effort. It’s also a bit on the cool side, so it doesn’t make my teeth appear yellowish.
It’s not drying on my lips and even feels a bit hydrating. It wears around 4 to 5 hours on my lips, and stains as well. However, if you’ll be doing some heavy eating or drinking, you might have to reapply it as the stain left will be uneven.
